Mermaid Liveaboard 2 Indonesia Dive Deck
The Exclusive Liveaboard MV Mermaid II is a 33 meter, double engine steel motor yacht. One of the most comfortable diver boats in Thailand, she easily accommodates 16 guests in 8 deluxe cabins and 2 guests in a budget cabin below deck. All deluxe cabins are on the main deck with large panoramic sea view windows. Each deluxe cabin has a double bed and single bunk (max pax 2 per cabin), air conditioning and ensuite bathrooms. Budget cabins have twin bunks and adjoining bathroom with 1 other cabin.
There is a wide stern dive platform with two exit ladders and fresh water showers. The dive deck is huge with plenty of room to gear up, individual boxes for your dive gear, camera table and loads of rinse tanks. The dining room is located on the main deck where delicious buffet style Thai and western meals are served. The saloon is large and spacious with lounge suites and big windows, bar fridge, tea and coffee facilities, TV/DVD, music center, library and a full selection of marine life books. There are two outside decks – the shade covered party deck has a combination of lounge chairs and cushioned sun chairs, The sundeck, located in front of the wheelhouse has full sun and cushioned sun chairs. EANX NITROX is available on every cruise.
Newest feature – since 15th of August – on the Mermaid Liveaboard 2 is that they provide warm fluffy towels after each dive – very nice!
Mermaid 2 Liveaboard Indonesia Lounge Area
Equipment on board the Liveaboard: Full rental equipment is available. Please advise your rental equipment needs including sizes when you book. MV Mermaids carry mostly 12 liter steel tanks plus some15 liter steel tanks available. Tank valves are international and some DIN adapters are available on board. Any dive equipment failure or loss will require you to rent a replacement from Mermaid Liveaboards at our published rates. If Mermaid Liveaboard equipment is lost/damaged, full replacement cost will be charged at the discretion of the Cruise Director. Published equipment prices are available on board.
Camera Stations on the Liveaboard: There is a large camera table on the dive deck with several rinse containers catering for small to super large camera/video setups. There are several power points in every cabin plus throughout the saloon area for charging. Each table in the saloon has an electrical outlet for your laptops. Usually our dive crew will have a laptop available in case you experience any problems with yours. As possible, we also offer a DVD burning service in case you cannot bring your laptop with you.
Electrical current and plugs on theLiveaboard: 220 volts is standard throughout the boat. 110v adapters are available. Please ask the Tour Leader on boarding if you are not sure what to use.We have a few adapters on board.

The Exclusive Liveaboard SY Indo Siren will be the newest member of the Siren fleet when completed in spring of 2011. She is 40 meters long and will have the same specifications as her sister, the SY Philippine Siren. The cabins offer flexibility and can be used as twins or double bedded rooms. The dining area is very spacious offering a great setting for all your meals. The dive deck will perhaps be the most spacious and comfortable you would have experienced. Designated areas for charging and preparation of your camera and video equipment, the S/Y Indo Siren truly sets out to be the pros choice for underwater photography and videography.
She is being built on the Indonesian Island of Sulawesi, and like our other yachts, is a traditional “gaft rigged Phinisi” handcrafted from ironwood and teak. You will find no other dive liveaboard’s as beautiful in Indonesian waters, and being that she is being built by divers for divers you can rest assured every need has been thought of and is being implemented.
Aboard the SY Indo Siren we shall welcome up to 16 guests aboard each trip. This ensures abundant space for all guests.

LIVEABOARD DIVING IN INDONESIA ON THE NEW SY MANDARIN SIREN
The Exclusive Liveaboard SY Mandarin Siren will be joining the Siren fleet around June 2010 and will be found in both Raja Ampat and Sulawesi, Indonesia.
The SY Mandarin will host 8 guests in 4 cabins aboard each trip. The cabins are all en-suite and offer a choice of double or twin bedded cabins. The dining area is at the rear of the yacht and offers a spacious and comfortable dining experience. The saloon offers a relaxed area to chill between and after dives and enjoy a movie on the large screen or sample a cocktail from the bar.
The dive deck follows the design of her larger sisters offering you ample space to set up your dive equipment. The cylinders are filled in situ and diving is done from the dive tender accessed via the dive platform.
